Almost May now and that’s basically the start of summer, right?! Just a reminder that even when it’s cool in terms of the air temperature and wind, you can still get quite sunburned so dig out the suncream to avoid sore pink arms and noses.
Again another really good week of news (for the UK at least) as Covid numbers tumble and vaccinations continue to ramp up. Race organisers seem to be increasingly confident now and I’ve had numerous messages confirming Covid safe arrangements for races over the summer and autumn, so find some events to drive your training mojo and motivation! Check out the Club champs events schedule for some inspiration.
I’m also very pleased to announce that from 17 May we’ll have Blackbird Leys pool for Thursday evening swim sessions, with hopefully other venues also coming back over time too.
Lots of training sessions available in the coming week, including 14 places for open water swimming tomorrow morning: book here!
Don’t forget to check our updated Covid guidance here.
Have a great weekend, train hard and stay safe everyone!
Any questions, as ever just ping me.
