It was so great to see Club members again last Saturday at the relay and picnic – it’s been far too long! Despite the weather and a motorbike accident disrupting the bike leg all participants seemed to have had a really enjoyable time catching up with friends old and new. Great photos and video montage from Dan on the Club’s Facebook page.
The committee definitely want to have another social held soon and so please look out for that invite. As Covid number seem to be ticking up again please stay safe, take regular tests if you are attending the in person sessions so that you don’t put Club members at risk, and avoid music festivals!
Thanks for all being so courteous in relation to swim sign ups. To reiterate whilst there is a limit to swim lanes can all Club members only sign up for one pool swim per week, unless there’s an on the day vacancy. Still plenty of places to swim in the lake tomorrow morning though, for those who are keen!
Please take the time to read Holly Ann’s race report from Vichy 70.3 last weekend, if you haven’t already done so. And the next race in the Club champs is this weekend at the Fugitive so good luck to everyone racing – no on the day entries but it looks like you can still enter now if you’re quick. And there’s other races still to be held, check them out here.
Finally welcome to three new members this week – we are now up to 173!
Enjoy the Bank Holiday – perfect excuse for a long bike rides …
Any questions, as ever just ping me.
