Hi Everyone and hello from sunny France!
It’s great to have so many members renewing their memberships as they fall due.
However even though we have now increased our swim sessions up to three with the addition of Abingdon as a new venue, please remember that lane capacity is still reduced with covid restrictions, and we are still down on our pre covid four sessions a week. Combined with this time of year being our busiest please allow everyone to have a shot at swimming at least once a week and don’t double book until it’s clear there are spaces going after the initial sign up rush. I don’t want to have to bounce people out of sessions, but the sign up police are watching so beware!
We are still exploring further swim capacity and as the restrictions hopefully continue to relax we should be able to deliver further numbers to our existing sessions; but in the meantime please be patient and considerate towards your fellow Club members.
Looking forward now we are in February, there’s the Chilly duathlon coming up quick, the first event in the 2022 Club champs and still time to sign up. And also best of luck to all our XC racers in tomorrow’s Adderbury round of the Oxfordshire Cross Country.
