The weather may be grey but it’s still very mild and with lots of great training sessions this weekend there’s a lot to be cheerful about.
Firstly tomorrow we have the second virtual bike and run time trial – friendly zoom meeting to do your 20km ride on a turbotrainer or static bike, followed by a 5km run on a route of your choice, followed by some chat with your fellow Club members. Sign up here!
Then on Sunday Dana is leading a short and sociable ride aimed at novice cyclists with potential coffee and cake at the end. Meet Oxsrad for a prompt start at 9:15 sharp, route here.
Further good news with Ferry pool reopening this week, thank you to all for good manners and behaviour in booking swim lanes while there is so much demand and so little capacity.
Chief coach Nathan has now completed official training as a strength and conditioning instructor, so look out for a series of performance boosting S&C coming soon to a zoom room near you.
Reminder to keep your evening free on 4th December for our winter/ Christmas social. Many thanks to social secretary Katie and her gang of elf helpers who are arranging the festivities for hungry triathletes.
Finally welcome back Joy who rejoined the Club this week, we are now up to 190 members!
Happy training everyone, have a great week.
Any questions, as ever just ping me.
