Hi everyone
Fireworks tonight so just a quick update.
Firstly it was amazing to have our Club awards dinner and party last night, and a real sense of returning to normality after the covid years. A huge thank you to Katie for organising us, and arranging the fireworks, and to our friends at Oxsrad for kindly providing the venue. The food was both amazing and plentiful, many thanks to Club member Robbie and his team for showcasing his professional skills. There are many compliments and pics on the Club Facebook page in addition to the ones below.
I hope everyone’s hangovers are all better tomorrow for the opening XC race!
I also wanted to briefly highlight that this week on Thursday the coaching team are meeting to discuss ideas for the coming season’s sessions, many thanks to our Head Coach Nathan for leading our awesome team of volunteer coaches. Just a reminder that members get FREE coaching and expertise from their Club sessions, spread the news people.
There is also a new session coming into the calendar on Saturdays as we meet up at local Horspath Park Run – wear Club kit and catch up on the news and gossip afterwards.
Finally welcome and thank you to all of our new and renewing members this week, and I hope you all enjoy your fireworks!
