The Club Annual General Meeting is on Monday and I think we have nominations now for most of the key roles going forwards in 2022. We do however have spaces for a couple more members on the committee and so if you would like to be involved and see the inner workings of how your Club is organised then please feel free to drop me a note. The work load isn’t too bad with one meeting in the evening of the first Monday each calendar month and a few group WhatsApp messages and banter between. I have said it before but it’s important to keep say it – the Club only runs so well due to the time and thought that my fellow committee members put in, so a massive thank you to all of the committee and coaching team for the past 12 months.
Of course training does not stop just because we are now in the off racing season! Tomorrow morning sees the first virtual bike and run time trial run by Sean, there’s already a healthy number of sign ups but the more the merrier – sign up here.
A massive thank you to the coaches for expanding the number of spaces we have at track and swim sessions. This is becoming ever more challenging given the imminent closure of Leys pool for two months. We do continually try to find more swim lanes but it is really difficult given the facility constraints.
Have a great weekend of autumn training and I look forward to meeting many of you in person on Monday!
Any questions, as ever just ping me.
