Bring on the Summer

I hope that this finds you well and that you have had a lovely Easter Weekend. We have our committee meeting tomorrow night so please do let me know if you have anything that you would like us to discuss or anything that you would like to share. Finally a reminder to keep sharing the Aquathlon as its only a month away!

God Bless

Oxford Aquathlon

To give you a little update over the past couple of weeks we seemed to have hit a little hurdle with regards to our Aquathlon. We are currently at 13 sign-ups which although encouraging is less that what we had hoped for. It’s important to highlighted that the event will 100% go ahead however we would love for more participants as to help create a bit of a buzz and atmosphere. We have included the event poster below so please do think about who you could possible share it with or perhaps a friend you could challenge to get involved.

Open Water Swim Familiarisation Sessions

We are delighted to share that our Open Water Swim Familiarisation Sessions are now live. These are coached sessions open to both members and non-members throughout the month of May. These session run in addition to our regular social open water swim sessions which we hope to be announcing more details of very shortly.

There is more information on the Familiarisation Sessions via our website HERE. Please note that if you are an existing member you don’t need to sign up for the Open Water Membership in order to sign up to participate in these sessions.

To make these sessions possible we will need a number of club members to help with registration, supporting coaches and supervising the session, more details of this will follow but do be thinking about committing to helping support the club during these sessions.

Just a reminder that our Wednesday night coached swim at Radley College has changed to 8pm-9pm.

With some of our other sessions being very busy why not give this one a little try out. It’s a great pool and very easy to get to from Oxford. If transport is an issues why not drop a little shout out on our Facebook Group
