Muscle Growth interactive virtual talk

72 spaces available

James Potts, Sport and Exercise Nutritionist at Loughborough University, made himself available for another interesting virtual talk on muscle growth.
The topic has been chosen through a poll that we ran amongst our members. It is an area that is not widely discussed in triathlon, as the wider public associates muscle mass with unnecessary extra weight to carry around during endurance training and events. Although muscles allow us to move our bodies, propel us forward and protect us from injuries of the body mechanics.
During the talk James will focus on ways that nutrition can assist with muscle growth and maintain a sustainable mass. The presentation will touch on:
  • How to optimise muscle growth
  • What to do to increase muscle growth
The talk will be focused and brief to allow plenty of time for Q&A.
Sign up to secure your place and obtain the Zoom link. We will be online from 6:45pm for initial meeting/socializing; the talk will start at 7pm.”
