Weekly Update 23 April 2022

Hi Everyone

I hope everyone has had a bit of a break over Easter and managed some intense carbohydrate absorption training with their Easter chocolate. Seriously for a moment, this is so important for our 70.3 and full distance specialists. Now just need to keep up the good work until race day without impacting your power to weight ratio too much … and where better to start than a packed week of Club training sessions.

We are back to a full schedule this week, so fill your boots folks!

Looking forwards to the next few weeks we have some more news in the pipeline with expanded slots at Thame pool on Tuesdays, and Saturday morning lake sessions. Especially looking forward to lakeside and on the water volunteer slots being filled up quickly so we have the confidence to run these sessions safely. The smart money is to get your stint in early before the water warms up!

Finally welcome to our new members this week. As ever if there’s any questions or introductions that need to be made, just drop me or any of the committee a message.

Happy training everyone!
