Weekly Update 16 April 2022

Hi Everyone

Just a short one this week as it’s full on holiday season.

First up, many thanks to those who’ve volunteered for open water lake safety duties at Queenford lake. Those sessions start 7 May and we’re still looking for a coordinator, so if you’re interested in what is involved then just email me.

It’s great to see Club numbers continue to tick upwards, for new members: welcome to the Club and feel free to drop me or any of the committee a message with any questions or just have a chat how to get the best out of your membership.

For those who’ve enjoyed success in the Newbury duathlon, don’t forget to log your results on the website in order to claim your Club championship points – makes note to self to check if I ever did it for the Chilly back in February.

Lovely Easter weather this weekend so enjoy your training in the sunshine. For Club rides Alex is offering a shorter option tomorrow so that you can get back in time to watch the Paris Roubaix with what’s left of your Easter eggs!
